What's happening at the 2010 show

Highlights of the show will include an Italian garden, a route of delicious boutique wines, a gallery of winning entries to a brand new photographic competition run with experts including Giulio Mazzarini, and the Estorick Art Gallery.  The show will also offer master-classes by celebrity chefs and tastings and demonstrations by some of Italy’s top artisan food and wine producers.

Teatro del Gusto

This feature has always been hugely popular and a lot of fun. There are sessions throughout the day for visitors to take part in the creation of delicious Italian dishes.
Hosted and run by talented chefs the cooking school is enjoyable, as well as educational, and those in the school or the hundreds watching come away even more passionate about all things Italian.

   

Wine academy

Here visitors are invited to taste and explore wines from across Italy. The Wine Academy is always a phenomenal success with every session packed and we expect this year to be even better.

Strada del Vino

A selection of authentic producers of will showcase their wines along a barrel route.
This new feature will give visitors the chance to meet experts face to face and discover first hand why their wines are so special.

   

Giardino all’italiana

Come and find the beauty and tranquillity of an Italian garden right in the heart of the show.

Only at La Dolce Vita you will find a wide choice of authentic Italian food and restaurants for all tastes; just to give you a hint: the beloved food from Theo Randall’s awarded restaurant, irresistible pizza from Made in Italy Group and the freshest pasta from Giovanni Rana!

   

Photo Competition

Open to all budding photographers – visitors will be able to submit entries with the theme of Italian food.

Judges will include:
- Award-winning magazine photographer
- Director of Italians of London
- Director of The Estorick Collection

Winning entries will be displayed at the show and the overall winner will receive a spectacular prize!

The closing date is the 12th of February.
